Let’s Get Serious for a Minute
Wednesday, December 12th, 2007What intrinsic features (e.g., taste, aroma, the way it feels in your mouth, temperature, vegetable it’s made from*) make a vodka desirable to you?
What images and other references does it seem most fitting to associate with a vodka that you find highly desirable?Ads for vodka fall into many categories. Plain text (Ketel One), provocatively dressed women (Skyy, Level), humorous bottle shots (Absolut), ads emphasizing ratings and taste (Grey Goose), and country of origin (Sobieski-Poland) are just some. If you are a consumer of vodka, what themes do you think are missing from the advertising landscape? What themes would you like to see associated with vodka? What themes strike you as so much hype? What themes would convey an attitude of authenticity?
