1147vodka the blog is designed as an open blog:  anyone can post new entries, and anyone can comment on existing entries.  To comment on a post, just click on “Comments” or “Post a Comment” below the post, and fill in the fields.  To create an original post, you need to register first, but it’s simple. Do so by clicking here or by clicking “register” under “Meta” on the sidebar menu, which is over there –>.  Registration is easy and just requires a valid e-mail address to which our server can mail you a password.  From there, you’re good to go!

2.  When a posting originates from an employee of 1147vodka, you know it.

“The Usual Gang of Idiots” — that means company management.  (Does anyone remember Mad Magazine?)  Anything we at 1147vodka post on this blog will be filed in this category, so you always know what’s coming from us.  (Our posts may go into other categories, too, but they will always be in the “Idiots” category.)

3.   Posts and comments from users are monitored.

Criticism of our products or company is always welcome; that’s one of the points of the blog.  However, we do monitor posts and comments before they are published.  We do this for one reason only — to ensure that profanity, comment spam, or other abusive material does not appear, diminishing everyone’s experience.  If you want your post to be seen, keep it decent and keep it relevant.  Even though we read your posting in advance, we don’t know who you are, and never will.  See Point 4.

4.  Anonymous posts are fine.

The blog is designed so that you can register and post anonymously. Not even we will know who you are.  When you create your username, pick one that has nothing to do with your real name.  We will have no idea who you really are offline. We ask for an email address so that we can email a new password in case you forget it. To preserve your anonymity, simply use an anonymous Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo, or other account.
